1 June continued
Due to technical difficulties I'm continuing my post. The metro into Athens wasn't crowded until about half way in. Then it got packed. Roger was worried that we wouldn't be able to get off with our suitcases and I told him to think DC metro. The hotel is less than a blocks rom the Acropolis metro stop. The walk was stinky because it had rained it smelled like a very dirty litter box. Our hotter is clean and nothing fancy but the location makes up for the lack of frills. Athens is 7 hours ahead of EDT, or 8 hours ahead of Garden Ridge. Got to go figure out our game plan for tomorrow, the good news is that there is no rain in the forecast, clear and 79 degrees. We'll take it since we just finished witnessing the coldest and most rain in May in Italy on record.
